Robert Susa has built a distinguished career centered on empathy, ethical leadership, fairness, and service to others. As the President and Owner of InventHelp, Robert oversees one of the most recognized invention service companies in the United States—an organization dedicated to helping inventors prepare and present their ideas professionally.

Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Robert’s roots in hard work and ethical standards in every part of his professional philosophy. He graduated from Youngstown State University with a degree in Organizational Communications, where he was named to the Dean’s List, served on the Academic Senate, and competed as a starting pitcher on the baseball team. The discipline and teamwork he developed on the field continue to shape his approach to leadership today.

Robert’s professional journey began as a Sales Representative at Pilsbury, where he learned the importance of clear communication and customer trust. In 1990, he joined InventHelp as a Compliance Manager—a role that set the tone for his lifelong dedication to ethical standards. Over the next two decades, he rose through the company ranks, holding positions such as Compliance Director, Sales Training Manager, and Sales Director before becoming President in 2008 and ultimately Owner in 2012.

Through every stage of his career, Robert’s leadership has emphasized unity, accountability, and fairness. He has been instrumental in continuing to shape InventHelp’s company culture, ensuring that every inventor receives guidance grounded in honesty and realistic expectations. His focus on integrity has helped strengthen InventHelp’s reputation as a trusted name in invention services for more than 40 years.

Beyond business, Robert’s dedication to helping others extends into education. He has personally donated over $100,000 to Youngstown State University, funding scholarships to support students pursuing their academic and professional goals. His belief in giving back is simple: opportunity creates progress, and persistence is the foundation for innovation.
